Bonafide RS117 loaded on the roof rack heading to the lake

Hey, I’m Clete.

I’m a kayak angler based in central Oklahoma, fishing out of a Bonafide RS117. I spend most of my time chasing bass and crappie at Grand Lake and Tenkiller, and running the OKC metro lakes — Hefner, Thunderbird — whenever I want a quick catfish session after work. I started this site because when I got into kayak fishing, I couldn’t find straight answers on where to go, what gear was actually worth buying, or how to get dialed in without a lot of trial and error. This is everything I wish had existed when I bought my first yak.
